Capturing the Pulse of Downtown Phoenix: A Travel Photographer’s Perspective

I recently had the opportunity to capture a fresh series of cityscape images for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) to use in upcoming marketing materials. The photos highlight some of the most iconic and dynamic architecture in the city, including:

One of my favorite visual details to capture was the line of bronze sculptures by John Henry Waddell that grace the promenade outside the Herberger Theater Center. These expressive figures add movement, artistry, and a timeless human element to the downtown landscape—a reminder that public art plays just as important a role in a city's identity as its skyline.
